Creative Expressions recently released a number of flower stamps. Here I have used the Anemone stamp set to create a delicate desgin. Using my Promarkers to colour the flowers and the butterflies in. The very delicate background design is Creative Expressions new stencils.
I’ve been playing with those Shimmy Shakers again. They are fabulous for making backgrounds. Sprinkle a little on to your background spritzed and you get these wonderful reactions. The colours are a true colour. What you see is what you get. You can also paint with them. Again, sprinkle a little out, on your board/ craft mat add water and you have a paint.
Mica powder is a product that has been around for quite some time in the craft world. You can mix it with water to create your very own colours spray or mix up your own colour by mixing the Mica powers together.
One of the simplest things to do with them is stamp in Versamark and brush over the top. This gives your stamped image a shimmer. The Mica will stick to the Versamark ink. Great for creating Shimmy backgrounds. As above.
This is creative stamping at its best. Fantastic new released product from Creative Expressions Shimmy Shakers. A cute pot of heaven in a shimmy powder. The Mica powders are full of intense colour, a ture colour no mixtures. Currently comes in 20 different colours. A stunning new Stamp range by Lisa Horton, the one used here is called Butterfly Background, perfect match together.
In celebration of St Patrick Day the blog challenge has gone all green. Here I have used Skys the Limits from Winnie’s Celebration 2 download. I did make a slight alteration by removing the original ballon and replacing it with a Shamrock ballon. A little bit of fun. I have used Promarkers and pencils to colour her in.

This super cute traditional Pram stamp from Woodware has been available for a while but when I’m asked to make baby cards it is one of my go to stamps in my stash. It is great for colouring in with your preferred medium but also great for paper pieces techniques. Paper pieceing is a great way of using up those leftover scrap card or even patterned card. The hardest choice is what colour to make your Pram.
